Terms and Conditions

Our plants

Every effort is made to ensure the description of our plants is accurate and that the plants we supply are true to type.

Use of plants

All our plants are sold as garden plants.  Use for any other purpose is at the buyer's own risk.  We expect that purchasers  will have the basic gardening skills to prepare the site or pot, to plant and to look after them.

Commercial use

Use of any of our plants, or derived materials, for / in medical, herbal or cosmetic products may contravene UK laws and regulations.  Gwynfor Growers has no liability for such uses.

Availability

We always try to indicate the expected availability of plants in our store.  Normally, if all the plants you have ordered are in stock we will dispatch them within seven working days of receiving your order.

Shortages

If we are unable to fulfil your order we will contact you regarding any delay, substations or refunds (full or partial).  We will not substitute plants without consulting you.

Pricing

The price of the plants is the cost displayed at the time of purchase plus any associated delivery costs.  Any subsequent offers or discounts are not applicable and cannot be applied retrospectively.

Delivery charges

Our fixed price delivery charges apply to mainland Great Britain.  Offshore islands and remote locations may incur a surcharge.  If a surcharge applies we will notify you of the extra cost.  If you agree the additional charge we will invoice you.  Alternatively, you may prefer to cancel the order.

We do not deliver outside of Great Britain.  This means we do not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

Payment

All monies must be received before any order is dispatched.

Cancellation and Right to ChangeYour Mind

You can cancel your order at any time up to the point of dispatch by contacting us.  We recommend you do this by email.

Once we have dispatched the plants you cannot change your mind or cancel your order.

(Because of the perishable nature of live plants the Consumer Contracts Regulations 14 day "cooling off period" does not apply).

Returns

Plant Heath regulations mean we cannot accept returns

Unsatisfactory Goods

In the event that any plants supplied are unsatisfactory (damaged, diseased, etc.) you must notify us within 3 working days (not including weekends and bank holidays).

We will need evidence to support your claim.
